Lesson Designer

Jill Camacho is a USAF veteran, mother of two boys, as well as a special needs parent. She became interested in neurodiversity after her own diagnosis of ADHD as a young adult. Her passion, however, for helping people develop coping skills and strategies intensified when her oldest son was diagnosed with autism at age 3. They intensively began Early Intervention at 18 months old, when her son began losing his few words and became non-verbal.

She has been homeschooling since 2015 and has no plans to stop anytime soon—both sons have flourished since coming home to learn! In an effort to support and encourage other special needs parents to take the leap and consider homeschooling, she blogs at www.SublimeDream.com. There she shares tips, encouragement, freebies, and her latest resources.
