Try using our free print out Preschool Activity Box list for ideas! Homeschooling with young children in the home can be difficult at times. One way to remedy the task of keeping a young child occupied while schooling older children is to have a box (or two!) of activities, games, and educational opportunities readily available. This box could be a plastic storage box purchased from a store, a toy box, or even a decorated cardboard box. Often, if the child is involved with the decorating of the box, he takes greater ownership of what is inside! To keep the child from getting bored with the “busywork” you are providing for him, store several small boxes that you can switch out often as the child gets bored.
