Othniel is currently Principal of Excellent Ones Consulting LLC. His firm helps organizations learn how to use data to drive business growth. His firm provides training on tools like Microsoft Excel, Access and QuickBooks to name a few. His recent clients include organizations like the Royal Bank of Canada, Brooklyn Public Library and the New York City Small Business Solutions Center to name a few.
He brings with him a background in finance, training, and information management systems. Prior to opening his own firm, Othniel spent 15+ years in finance at various organizations. His responsibilities included: overseeing post-award grant processes, building financial models, forecasting revenue, developing budgets and analyzing data to support strategic decisions. He formerly served on the Board of American Society of Trainers and Developers as the VP of Finance. He is a member of the local SHRM chapter and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
He has a BA in Finance with a specialization in Computer Science from SUNY and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Adelphi University. He is a certified Microsoft Master and Excel expert. In addition he also serves as a Deacon in his local Church. Othniel lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife and five children whom they homeschool.
