More About Our Let’s Talk Intentional Parenting Unit Study
Welcome to Let’s Talk!
Lesson designer Jenny Stephenson shares, “I’m so excited to get to share Let’s Talk with you all. My heart for this series is simply to have a sweet conversation together. If you were at my house, I’d be pouring us a hot cup of coffee. (Those who know me can attest my coffee pot is always full!) We would sit out on the porch swing watching our kids play and the ducks swim in the pond. The breeze would be in our hair as those huge low white clouds of Texas blow overhead. We would catch up and talk about life. As sisters in Christ, we would talk about what is and what isn’t working in our home, where we need to get clear direction from the Lord, refocusing, and reinventing what it is to be a homeschool mom. I’d share with you my failures and my successes, things that have worked, and ways that I’ve organized life in hopes we can sharpen each other. There would probably be a few tears, prayers, and some laughter, too. By the time the afternoon was over, our children would be very dirty, our coffee cups would be empty, and our hearts would be full.”
This is the heartbeat of Let’s Talk. Unit study topics mostly relate to intentional parenting in the home—at meal time, reading time, during chores, and about homeschool life. Jenny shares recipes and fun printables, too. She desires to be an encouragement. If you have questions, topics you’d like to talk about, or additional ideas on these subjects, please share with Jenny through email or visit her blog:
