Explorers Australia-final Habitat Project

Over the past seven months, we’ve toured a lot of exciting places in Australia, New Zealand, and their neighboring islands. We’ve also met fourteen different interesting animals, studied what they like to eat and the kinds of places or habitats they need to thrive. This month, we’re going to prepare to say farewell to Australia and New Zealand by creating a picture of our entire zoo. Click on Zoo Habitats to get started.

We’ve also found a few more places in Australia and New Zealand that we thought you might enjoy seeing. We’ve included a list of them and their websites here if you’d like to check them out and do a little exploring on your own.

We hope you have enjoyed exploring Australia and New Zealand with us as much as we’ve enjoyed having you join us! Watch the What’s New page for news on more Daily units coming this fall.

If you have an idea for a unit you would like to see us create, please e-mail Julie Coney, editor of the Schoolhouse Dailies at jconey@thehomeschoolmagazine.com. If you’d like to join our team of Star Contributors who create many of the Daily units, and earn a free SchoolhouseTeachers.com membership in the process, please be sure and ask Julie about that as well!

Aussie Explorers March 11-15

Everyday Explorers is trying something a little different. Some of you have asked if we could post Explorers in a way that would make the posts easier to navigate. We’ve decided to try this format. The links will continue to be made live throughout the week. Please let us know what you think of this change. You can contact us through the Ask a Question feature. We hope you enjoy it! -Eds.
