Charity Martinez is the mom to 4 beautiful girls whom she home schools. It is very challenging, but she would not have it any other way. Charity has an amazing husband named Joe and 2 beautiful golden retrievers named Suzy and Rodgers (Charity and her husband are avid Green Bay Packers fans!). Charity and her husband began homechooling in October 2014 due to Common Core and what their children were learning from other children. The girls are now thriving. Charity and her 4 daughters have a book review blog where publishers/authors send them copies of books to review that are not on the public’s bookshelves yet. Charity also has a homeschool blog where she provides product reviews on a variety of items and just talks about life as a homeschooling family. In her spare time, Charity and her family enjoy going to movies, water parks, concerts, and generally just hanging out with each other.

Creative Storytelling: Do you have a child who loves to write? How about a reluctant writer? Creative Storytelling incorporates activities to engage them both. The course begins with a look at what creative writing is and then moves into character development, plot development, setting, and more. Students will have the foundation for a book or story in place when they complete the class.
