Welcome to Our Homeschool Art History Curriculum: Discovering Art History
Would your elementary students like to deepen their understanding of historical art styles? Discovering Art History is a nine-week course for fourth and fifth grade students in which they learn to group artwork by style, subject, and artist, as well as explore various careers in the field of art. Each week, students investigate artistic styles like naturalism, romanticism, impressionism, modernism, etc. With each style, students study several key artists like Rockwell, Monet, Cezanne, da Vinci, and many more. Students can then enjoy practicing each style.
