Melody VanGorkom has a lifelong passion for music. She sings lead and harmony with her family’s worship team and plays both bass guitar and piano/keyboard. Melody grew up immersed in music at home and in church, gaining practical experience through family instruction, instrumental study, and hands-on participation in worship settings. She is delighted to share what she has learned with students learning music at home.

Here are a few facts about Melody:

• Graduated from homeschool high school
• Currently enrolled in college-level design courses
• Made her first singing debut at age three, recording vocals for a worship CD produced by her father alongside local musicians
• Received vocal training through family instruction, including harmony and rounds
