Miranda Bird is a homeschooler from Jacksonville, Florida, with a passion for reading, writing, and community involvement. She actively participates in 4-H, her local Civil Air Patrol squadron, and the CyberPatriot cybersecurity competition. Miranda has earned the 4-H Emerald Clover Award, won the Duval County Farm Bureau Speech Competition, and placed 3rd in the District Speech Competition. She is also involved in her youth group, including dance and choir. Together with her dad, she offers astronomy workshops to the community using professional telescopes and a Starlab planetarium. Miranda’s love for writing and books is a defining part of her life.
