Kristen Adkins began her career in the medical field but after having two children decided a teaching profession would suit family life much better. She recently graduated from Western Governor’s University with a master’s degree in teaching. Kristen and her high school sweetheart, Sam, have seven children, mostly through adoption. The family homeschooled for seven years and recently started attending her church’s new school, Mount Hope Christian Academy in Beckley, WV.
