Welcome to Our Red Wagon General Science for Middle School Course
Who are we, and how do we fit into the bigger picture of God’s earthly handiwork? Middle schoolers learn about their own bodies, as well as the earth and life on earth, in Red Wagon General Science. Through video lessons, text readings, experiments, activities, and even tests, students explore life science from the scientific method through geology and fossils to biological principles and energy to the systems of the human body. This overview course provides a broad science base for middle school students prior to entering high school.

How to Analyze and Interpret Experiments, Part 1
Please watch this video before class starts or the session video is viewed:
1. What were the flaws in Percival Lowell’s experiments and in BCS theory?
In the case of Percival Lowell, his experiments were flawed. Indeed, he saw plenty of “canals” on Mars, but they turned out to be the result of bad _______________ and eye _______________. Had he used better telescopes, and had he allowed more time for his eyes to rest, he might not have been fooled. In the case of BCS theory, there was _______________ missing: higher-temperature super-conduction was possible.
2. Experimental _______________ is an aspect of an experiment which changes during the course of the experiment.
