Myrland and her husband Gerni have been married for 24 yrs. They’ve homeschooled for 17 years: 2 in college, 2 in high school, 2 in elementary, 2 preschool, and the oldest son living life with CP by the LORD’s grace.

She has a Biology/pre-med degree and enjoys learning and teaching Scripture and sound science.She also studied environmental science and started a recycle program while in college. With the desire to reuse and recycle, she recently created the “Bag It!” that stores and allows you to reuse your grocery bags for small trash bins instead of buying bags. The practice of “Reuse & Recycle” in many homes helps the environment for all of us.

Within her homeschool community, she teaches and started Qol Speech & Debate of West Georgia with NCFCA and Dallas Homeschool Basketball.

Anatomy & Physiology: This high school anatomy and physiology course takes a closer look at how and why the human body works and God’s remarkable design in the body’s tiniest details.

Physical Science: Through downloadable and online readings, experiments/labs, and hands-on projects, students explore the three main branches of physical science—chemistry, physics, and earth science. Topics such as elements, acids and bases, chemical formulas, force and motion, work and energy, electricity and magnetism, geology, oceanography, meteorology, astronomy, and more are explored.
