Deana Pittman, Ph.D., is a homeschooling mom and wife who lives with her family on a small farm in Mississippi, where they enjoy caring for a variety of animals. She holds a Ph.D. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and is a certified Science teacher. In addition to educating her own children, Deana facilitates a cottage school for other local students. She also enjoys crafting, reading, and traveling.

ESL Foundations: Letters and Everyday Vocabulary: This is a nine-week homeschool ESL course that helps beginning English learners build a strong foundation in the language. Through video, audio, and printable activities, students strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Designed to make English approachable for homeschoolers, this course gives students of all ages the confidence to recognize, understand, and use English in everyday life.

Exploring God’s World with Sixth Grade Science: This homeschool science course includes text to read as well as numerous online resources to explore and many hands-on experiments to help bring life science, earth science, and physical science to life.

Exploring God’s World with Fifth Grade Science: This course is designed to teach fifth grade students about the incredible creativity and diversity evident throughout creation. Through weekly lessons, reading assignments, comprehension questions, and periodic activities, students will study and explore the world around them.
