Welcome to Our History of Holidays in America Homeschool History Course
What is Cinco de Mayo? What is the history behind Groundhog Day? Students learn the answers to these questions in History of Holidays in America. By highlighting twenty-one holidays and celebrations, fourth- through eighth-grade students can study holiday traditions and their histories or create a timeline of when specific holidays were first celebrated and formally adopted as holidays.
